Gmail Integration

Integrate Gmail with Leadmaster

If you’re a LeadMaster customer, you’ve likely enjoyed the benefits of past innovations we’ve worked into our CRM before. The Lead-Xpress Portal, for example, presents companies with an inexpensive way to give reps access to leads and customer records – no need for an enterprise license.

Now, we’re happy to announce an easy to use Chrome extension that integrates Gmail and the LeadMaster CRM seamlessly. We think you will love it.

The tool is built directly into your Gmail inbox as a sidebar. It allows you to sent Gmail data straight into the CRM, and changes in the CRM are reflected into your Gmail. What’s more, the extension allows you to import LinkedIn data into the LeadMaster software with the click of a button.

You can import contacts and companies and update information from Gmail. If you modify contact or company info, the CRM remembers the changes – and the Gmail inbox does too.

From the Gmail sidebar, you can track email history, add your Gmail contacts to lead nurturing tracks, add a callback that will remind you of events when you’re logged into LeadMaster, and you can add and review contact notes.

From the LeadMaster CRM, you can see the changes at the contact level. Simply drill down into the contact view to see changes and notes which will then be reflected in the Gmail sidebar.

You can track the progress of your Gmail contact in lead nurturing campaigns, add to more lead nurturing campaigns, adjust callback details, and create callbacks that will be available for review in Gmail. Send an email in LeadMaster, and that email history will be visible in Gmail.

Here’s how to use the LeadMaster Chrome Tool

Click on this link (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/leadmaster) which will direct you to the Chrome extension in the Chrome web store. Click the blue button that says “add to Chrome.” When prompted, click “add Lead Master CRM to Gmail.”

You’ll know the plugin is installed when you see a green button that says “Rate it” and a LeadMaster icon in the upper right hand corner in the browser bar.

If you’re logged into Gmail, log out, then log back in to activate the extension.
Log in by clicking the LeadMaster icon.

Or simply click on an email and log in through the LeadMaster pop-up button you’ll see on the right.

Congratulations! You’re ready to integrate LeadMaster and Gmail seamlessly.

Using the LeadMaster Chrome extension with Gmail

To add a contact from a Gmail message to the CRM, click on “company/contacts” in the sidebar. A drop down menu will appear where Gmail information is dynamically inserted.

Make any modifications you deem necessary and add any additional information you may find useful and click on “add to CRM.” The changes will be reflected in LeadMaster, and will be retained in Gmail.

If a contact exists, you may update the contact by clicking on “company/contacts,” change any information you see fit, and click on “update to CRM.”

Track LeadMaster email history simply by clicking “email.”

The first time you add a contact to a lead nurturing campaign, callback or note, a popup box will appear that lets you know you are being logged on to LeadMaster.

To add a Gmail contact to a lead nurturing campaign, click the plus sign next to “lead nurturing.”

Another popup box appears with a drop down menu containing your lead nurturing campaigns and a calendar to select the start date.

To add a callback, click the plus sign next to “callback.” The callback screen you are used to seeing in LeadMaster is made available in a Gmail popup box.

To add a note, simply click the plus sign next to “contact notes.” A dialogue box is populated and you can add notes directly here.

Using the Chrome extension within the CRM

To view contact additions or contact modifications within the LeadMaster CRM, do a quick search for the person you have added or updated. You may also search at the account level by searching for the company.

To view changes made through Gmail, drill down to the contact level. Here you will see contact notes, callbacks, and lead nurturing track additions.

Note that if you send an email within LeadMaster, add a note or callback within the system, or add this contact to another lead nurturing campaign, these changes will be shown in your Gmail. Just click on an email your contact has sent you to view the updates.

Sign into LinkedIn. When you view a contact, you will notice a blue button that says “add to LeadMaster.” Click that button, and the contact is instantly imported.
